New Year's Day Parade-Rome

 Rome New Year's Day Processional Parade in Vatican City!

Give your marching band the chance to participate in one of the world's most famous parades, held in one of the world's oldest and most historic cities!

How would you like for your band to open for the Pope? Well, they can with the wonderful performance tour to Italy! March into Vatican City as you parade from Piazza John XXIII with a performance stop along the way to St. Peter's Square. Perform for the massive crowd following the Mass and before the Pope brings his New Year's Day message to the crowd. Perform following the Pope's Blessing and then parade back to the Plaza with another performance stop along the way. If that's not enough look at the tour highlights below.

 HIGHLIGHTS OF THE TOUR:

• Fly either into Rome, Florence or Bologna. Depending on flight schedules and how many flights are needed to transport the group.
• Arrive in Italy and meet your tour manager and staff representative from Music Festivals & Tours
• Two nights in Montecatini, a beautiful city outside of Florence.
• Photo stop at the Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence.
• Guided Walking Tour of Florence.
• Visit To Pisa.
• Parade Performance in Montecatini along with a stand-still performance in the Town's Square.
• Stop in the beautiful Midieval Town and its famous central square, Siena.
• Guided Walking Tour of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel.
• Guided Walking Tour of Ancient Rome with a photo stop at the famed Colosseum.
• Dinner and New Year's Eve Celebration with a DJ and entertainment.
• Participate in the Processional March from the Piazza John XXIII Plaza to St. Peter's Square. Performance stop along the way.
• After Mass perform for the massive crowd prior to the Pope's New Year's Day Blessing. Following the Pope's speech, perform for the crowd prior to marching back to the Piazza John XXIII Plaza. • Optional Performance in the Rome Christmas World Fair.
• Free time in Rome to explore.
• Day Visit to Pompeii with a guided tour.
