Charleston, South Carolina
March 15, 2025
Charleston is ranked annually among the nation’s most visited cities. Charleston, founded in 1670, is defined by
its cobblestone streets, horse-drawn carriages and pastel
pre-Civil-War-era houses, particularly in the bustling French Quarter
and Battery areas. The Battery promenade and Waterfront Park both
overlook Charleston Harbor, while Fort Sumter, a Federal stronghold
where the first shots of the Civil War rang out, lies across the water. Our attraction for this festival is a BBQ Dinner with a DJ Dance, Tour and Awards Ceremony on the World War II aircraft carrier, The USS Yorktown. (subject to change).
You will enjoy performing for our expert panel of music educators and
following your ensemble's performance, one of the adjudicators will
offer a mini-clinic. Please check with our staff for the festival date before planning any sightseeing activities.
